The League for the Hard of Hearing website does not obtain and will not collect any personal information unless you choose to submit it to us. For example, joining the League Buzz, email newsletter or contacting any of the League’s departments by email will identify your email address.

We have taken reasonable steps to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of personally identifiable information that you may provide. However, you should understand that electronic transmissions via the Internet are not 100% secure from interception and so we cannot guarantee the security or confidentiality of such transmissions.

When the use of the League website involves the transmission of confidential information, we use commercially reasonable and available security software to establish a secure connection between your personal computer and our server. This allows the transmission of encrypted information from your personal computer to our server and back again, and is the industry standard for Internet platform security.
