By Bus
Within Manhattan: Downtown M1 or M6 to Broadway and Exchange Place
From the Bronx: The BxM4C and BxM18 (Liberty Lines) express buses stop at Trinity Place and Rector Street. Walk 1 block east on Rector Street onto Broadway. Walk 1 ½ blocks south to 50 Broadway.
From Brooklyn: Take the B51 to Manhattan. At City Hall/Park Row transfer to the downtown M1 or M6. Get off at the Broadway and Exchange Place stop. Walk ½ block south to 50 Broadway.
Express Buses x27, x28, and x29 (MTA) stop at Rector Street and Trinity Place. Walk 1 block east on Rector Street to Broadway. Walk 1 ½ blocks south on Broadway to 50 Broadway. The BM1, BM2, BM3 and BM4 (Command Company) express buses stop at Trinity Place and Exchange Alley. Walk 1 block east on Exchange Alley and make a right onto Broadway. Walk ½ block south to 50 Broadway.
From Queens: The QM1and QM1A (Queens Surface) express buses stop at Trinity Place and Rector Street. Walk 1 block east on Rector Street and make a right onto Broadway. Walk 1 ½ blocks south to 50 Broadway. The QM11 and QM24 (Triboro Coach) express buses stop at Trinity Place and Rector Street. Follow the directions above.
From Staten Island: the X6, X7, X9 and X10 (MTA) express buses stop at West Street and Rector Street. The X3, X4, X11, X12, X13, X15, X16, X17/AC, X18, X19, X20, X27, X28 and X29 (MTA) express buses stop at Trinity Place and Rector Street. For both stops walk east on Rector Street. Turn right onto Broadway and continue south to 50 Broadway.
From New Jersey: Academy Motor Coach operates buses between Downtown Manhattan and Ocean Port/Red Bank, Route 9, Route 36, Sayreville, Wall Street Express via Garden State Parkway, Parkway Express via Jersey City, Willingboro/Westhampton, Cheesequake and Hoboken. Suburban Transit/Coach USA operates express buses between Downtown Manhattan and Highstown/8A, Princeton and East Brunswick
Buses drop off passengers at Trinity Place and Exchange Alley. From there, walk 1 block east on Exchange Alley and make a right on Broadway. Walk ½ block south to 50 Broadway.
NJ Transit operates:
- Bus #120 from Bayonne to the Battery, at Greenwich and Morris Streets. Walk 1 block east on Morris Street toward Broadway. Make a left on Broadway and walk north ½ block to 50 Broadway.
- Bus #134 from Browtown to Greenwich Street and Battery Place. Walk 1 block east on Battery Place and make a left onto Broadway. Walk 1 ½ blocks north to 50 Broadway.
By Ferry
From Staten Island: Ferry from St. George Ferry Terminal at Richmond Terrace to Whitehall and South Street.
From Brooklyn: The NY Waterway ferry travels between Pier 4 (Brooklyn Army Terminal) in Bay Ridge and Pier 11 (Wall Street) in Downtown Manhattan. Pier 4 is located at 58th Street and 1st Avenue. A free shuttle bus operates between the Pier 4 ferry terminal, Shore Road and 4th Avenue, and 39th Street and 4th Avenue. Free parking is available at Pier 4.
From Queens: NY Waterway provides free transportation to and from the Hunter's Point ferry terminal and the Vernon Boulevard- Jackson Avenues subway station (7 train), the Hunter's Point LIRR station, and the Long Island City LIRR station. Take the ferry to Pier 11 (Wall Street). This service takes only 10 minutes and runs every 15 minutes during peak hours (6:00 AM - 10:00 PM).
From New Jersey: Ferry service is provided to Pier 11 (Wall Street) by NY Waterway from Port Imperial, Weehawken Colgate Center, Hoboken South, Exchange Place, Jersey City, Belford, Atlantic Highlands, and Sandy Hook Bay Marina; by Sea Streak, from South Amboy, Atlantic Highlands, and Highlands; by NY Fast Ferry from Keyport, Sandy Hook Bay Marina. From Pier 11 (Wall Street): walk 7 blocks west on Wall Street to Broadway. Then walk 1 ½ blocks south to 50 Broadway.
Ferry service to Pier A (Battery Park) is provided by NY Waterway from Harborside and Newport in Jersey City and Hoboken South. From Pier A (Battery Park): walk 3 blocks east on Battery Place to Broadway. Make a left on Broadway. Then walk 1 ½ blocks north to 50 Broadway.
Ferry service is provided by Liberty Park Water Taxi, to Battery Park, from Liberty Landing Marina (exit 14B and 14C off the New the New Jersey Turnpike) in Liberty State Park
By Automobile
From East Side of Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, and Long Island: FDR Drive South staying in left lane past the Brooklyn Bridge Exit following signs for Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel/West Street. Go through tunnel to West Street driving about two blocks to Rector Street. Turn right on Rector to Broadway. Turn right on Broadway to 50 Broadway. From West Side of Manhattan: Head south on West Street (West Side Highway) to the Chambers Street Exit. At the light, make a left onto Chambers Street. At the 3rd light, make a right onto Broadway. Continue south on Broadway for ¾ mile to 50 Broadway.
From Brooklyn: Take the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan. Follow the signs for Park Row South. Exit onto Park row and proceed to the light. At the light, make a left onto Broadway and continue south for ½ mile to 50 Broadway.
From Staten Island: Verrazano-Narrows Bridge toward Brooklyn. Take I-278 (Brooklyn-Queens Expressway) to Prospect Expressway to Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. Exit tunnel onto West Side Highway to Rector Street. Turn right on Rector Street to Broadway. Right on Broadway to 50 Broadway.
From New Jersey: Take the George Washington Bridge, the Lincoln Tunnel or the Holland Tunnel into Manhattan. Head south on West Street (West Side Highway) to the Chambers Street Exit. At the light, make a left onto Chambers Street. At the 3rd light, make a right onto Broadway. Continue south on Broadway for ¾ mile to 50 Broadway.
